Paris:Sete presents an exhibition programme that brings together two distinct approaches to furniture design, bringing contemporary practice and design legacy into dialogue.
Within the showroom, a selection from the collaboration between Armando Cabral and USM brings the NKYINKYIM collection into a more intimate, use-oriented context. Developed from the USM modular system, the collection reflects on movement, adaptability, and cultural identity, drawing from the Adinkra symbol from which it takes its name. The pieces reveal a language that brings together structure and fluidity, exploring new possibilities of configuration and spatial relationship.
In parallel, marking the centenary of Verner Panton, Paris:Sete presents a selection of some of his most iconic works. The exhibition revisits one of the most experimental languages of 20th-century design, defined by a radical approach to colour, form, and spatial experience, highlighting its lasting influence on contemporary design.
The programme unfolds as a continuous experience throughout the showroom, where different moments of design meet and interact. Between contemporary modular experimentation and Panton’s visionary legacy, visitors are invited to explore different ways of thinking, configuring, and inhabiting space.
Through a curatorial approach and strong attention to detail, it works with some of the most relevant international brands, selecting pieces that combine quality, innovation, and timelessness. Each project is conceived as a whole, resulting in environments that are coherent, enduring, and closely connected to those who inhabit them.
The Paris:Sete showroom in Lisbon embodies this vision. More than an exhibition space, it is a place where design takes on scale, context, and presence — where pieces, materials, and languages engage in direct relation to space.
