LDW Highlights

Lines in Earth presents Ludivine Billaud’s latest collection of clay-based works, spanning drawing, sculpture, furniture design, and pattern-making.
Occupying the gallery walls, the artist-designer displays a genre-defying mural that integrates colorful clay onto ceramic surfaces. Both abstract and decorative, this new research into ceramic patterning explores a range of motifs: from the spontaneous and repetitive to the broken-down, figurative, and ribbon-like.

The exhibition extends these clay investigations into three dimensions through a series of deconstructed objects, including "ribbon-breaking" mirrors and wall lamps.

Each piece features a unique, custom glaze developed by the artist as part of these experimental drawing techniques with clay.

The atelier of French artist-designer whose interdisciplinary practice approaches space as sculpture. She conceives decorative and sculptural forms in situ, responding to broader social and architectural contexts. Lines in Earth presents her latest clay‑based explorations, from ceramic murals to deconstructed objects with custom glazes.
