LDW Highlights

During this 2026 edition of Lisbon Design Week, Her Clique is proud to showcase the works "Letters to Myself" by the Portuguese renowned visual artist, Graça Pereira Coutinho. The exhibition will feature paintings, sculpture and installation pieces from the artist's portfolio spanning across several years.

“Dream reader, that’s what I am. I seek silence. I draw in the air. I write letters to myself, from my memories. To grasp my shadow is to carry it to a good, pleasant place. The chosen materials show fragility and strength of the universe” @gracapereiracoutinho.

Graça Pereira Coutinho (b. 1949) was born in Lisbon, where she took the sculpture degree in the ESBAL. In 1971 she went to London to study, post graduation course at ST. Martins School of Art. Her exhibition highlights include the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Lisbon; Serralves Foundation, Porto; Caixa Geral de Depósitos, Lisbon; Museum of Contemporary Art Osaka, Japan; São Paulo Bienal, Brazil; MAC, Badajoz, Spain; Museu Historico Nacional, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Arts Council Centre, São Paulo, Brazil. She lives and works in Lisbon.
