Originally from Madrid, Daniela studied design before moving to Berlin to study sustainability, where Quiet Studios was founded in 2016. The city's layered history and culture of considered living quietly shaped her thinking about space.
She moved to Portugal to design hotels, and quickly found a country with a deep tradition of craftsmanship that enabled her to design unique furniture and one-of-a-kind projects. The practice found its home there, and that access to craft became central to how Quiet Studios works.
What has stayed constant is the attention to detail, the contrast between old and new, and the belief that every project should feel entirely its own.
