The Beauty in Everyday Rituals: Guided Visit

The Beauty in Everyday Rituals is an installation specially conceived for Roca, for Lisbon Design Week 26. The building’s neoclassical architecture from 1909 and its location serve as an inspiration for the textile pieces presented, establishing a dialogue between the artworks and the space that holds them, with its features, colours and light. Roca’s long history, starting in 1917 with the production of cast iron radiators for domestic heating, and later continued in 1929 with the production of bathtubs, was the starting point to explore bathing rituals as a theme, as well as its intersections with water culture, well-being and memory.

The exhibition is free to enter from 10:30 to 17:30, but participation in the guided tours requires mandatory registration.
