Quiet Objects — EXHIBITION OPENING reception
Quiet Objects is a contemporary textile art exhibition bringing together works by Vanessa Barragão, Olga Ermol, Mariana Ralo, João Bruno Videira, and Marta Ramada Leite. Through diverse techniques including weaving, embroidery, and sculptural fiber practices, the exhibition explores textile as a medium of material intelligence, tactile sensitivity, and spatial presence.
Presented within the interior setting of The Vintage Hotel, the exhibition unfolds as a lived environment rather than a traditional gallery. The works engage in a subtle dialogue with architecture, light, and furniture, revealing textile’s capacity to soften, frame, and transform space while inviting a slower, more contemplative mode of viewing.
The exhibition opens on 27 May and remains on view until 31 August 2026.
