OPEN STUDIO - Meet the Designer
For this year’s edition of Lisbon Design Week,
I decided to open up my new studio.
For the first time, I will present a glimpse of my 13-year deep dive into the world of design, showcasing some of the ideas and pieces I created from scratch.
From sketches to real possibilities, and their turnaround and turnover into factual, tactile design products.
Everything from the initial prototypes, some of the bold experiments, a few “mistakes”, the “what could have been…”, and everything in between.
Glass and wood take their time to get into shape, as you twist and turn their natural form into a “format”. There is a particular kind of beauty and poetry when the “format” does not fit the mould.
Not everything goes according to plan, and I’m drawn to it. Step inside my creative home and get inspired by shadows, light and the unexpected.
