MAKERS AT MUDE: A collaboration between LDW & MUDE
Empowering Local Makers: Design as a community development tool.
The intersection of design and local craftsmanship is emerging as a powerful tool for economic and social development. Empowering Local Makers: Design as a Development Tool brings together a distinguished panel of designers and creative leaders to explore how design-driven innovation can strengthen local production, preserve cultural heritage, and foster sustainable growth. Through case studies and firsthand experiences, the panel will highlight collaborative models that bridge traditional making with contemporary design practices, creating new opportunities for artisans, entrepreneurs, and communities.
